WORDFIND.

My favourite golf home products are the subtle ones that don’t immediately scream “golf” when you come across them, looking like simple pieces to the outsiders and eliciting a knowing smile out of golfers. 

 

With how extensive golf-specific vocabulary is, especially when it comes to spending more time in the trees than on the fairway, I thought that making golfers find all of the words in an artwork they would not want to find on the course would be a fun idea. So, I’ve created this classic newspaper-style wordfind to make light out of something so traumatising. 

 

My first round of wordfinds were all hand drawn, taking about 8 hours from start to finish. Just like with our Draw/Fade prints, I didn’t want to go down the standard digital printing route to scale up production, instead opting in for the A2 two-colour screen printing on 200GSM textured paper done at my home studio in Ōtautahi with hand-finished crossed out word of choice.
